About The Forum

The Gettysburg Forum was formed as an student-run alternative online news source in 2003 and has continued to serve the Gettysburg College community since then.  Its unique position as an independent organization has allowed it to highlight and report on important and controversial campus issues throughout its run.  The Forum is privately funded, enabling objective reporting and writing.  All students are welcome to join the staff, regardless of previous journalistic experience and writing training, as we advise and teach our members how to be better journalists and writers.

The Forum is updated regularly and contains a wide variety of topics and genres.

The Forum meets in the College Union Building Room 203 on Thursdays at 6pm.
