Club Profile: The Spanish Club

For the Spanish lovers out there, we have a club for you!

Why was the Spanish Club formed?
The main idea of the Club is to give the students an opportunity to speak Spanish and get to know some topics about the Hispanic Culture.

What kind of events do you do?
Visit to museums, games, theaters, cooking, playing cards and whatever the students want!

What are some future events or projects?
This Sunday we are going to DC to the GALA Theater to see Las Paredes by Griselda Gambaro from Argentina and then we are going to an Argentine café in Rockville , Maryland . For the next months, we are planning to go to The Museum of the Americas in DC because they have an exposition called “Merengue”. Then, we are planning to have Argentine and Mexican night with food and some different stuff from these countries.

Who can join the club?
Everyone who is taking a Spanish course and whoever wants to speak Spanish with other people.

Are the meetings in Spanish?
Yes, they are.
