Read more to find out what the hell Sporcle is.

So, StumbleUpon get boring yet? Probably not, and even if it has you’ll go back to it. But ‘til then, I’m bringing you Sporcle this week. Sporcle, “mentally stimulating diversions.” Yeah, it may sound a little bit dorky, but hey give this little awkward child a chance. Before you know it, three hours have gone and you’re competing against your friends to see who can name the most out of the original pokemon.

There are 14 categories of quizzes on the site. For the social study studs there’s geography. For the history buffs…history. There’s television, gaming, movies, and music. Now if we want to get a little more intellectual they have science, literature, language, and religion. As for the guys out there reading this, there is of course a sports section which covers all the basics like Super Bowl wins, March Madness history, all that fun stuff. Pretty much, there’s a quiz out there for anyone and everyone, even holiday-themed ones.

But the real gems are in the categories Entertainment, Miscellaneous and Just for Fun. Can you name the beer slogans, bitch? Probably not, but hey, practice and practice again. There is indeed and endless supply of beer-related quizzes on Sporcle for all the bros out there. Or hey how about all the ingredients in a Big Mac? Now you wish you remembered that goddamn stupid rap from those goddamn overplayed commercials. Can you name all the Batman villains? Yeah, besides the Joker.

So hey, push back that Spanish class bullshit a little bit longer, and sporcle away.

There’s one thing that literally every single college student knows, and that’s that the internet is the number one tool for procrastination in the world. Between creepin’ around on Facebook, going into a comatose-like state because of Youtube or Wikipedia, and simply bullshitting around on the internet , college trains you to be a pro at procrastination. Now, we all procrastinate a shit-ton, oh and for God’s sake, let’s just be fucking honest with each other, we all creep on Facebook. These are assumed facts about college students everywhere, from the meth heads at your community college to the tightasses across the pond at Oxford.

So Facebook and the like are the most popular tools for procrastination. But that doesn’t mean they’re the best (you can only creep on last night’s hook up for so long before you start to question your creepiness). So over the next few weeks I’m going to bring you the funniest and best websites out there, from satirical blogs to sites that bring you the newest shit around. Today I’m bringing you StumbleUpon.

StumpleUpon is actually not really much of a website in its own right. All it really does is bring you the best of other websites. But anybody that’s ever been on StumbleUpon before knows that the second you type in that URL, you just pushed your essay (that’s due tomorrow) back at least another hour. What interests you? Photography? Maybe you want to discover a new band? Or just play games? On StumbleUpon’s homepage, you can choose between 25 categories (it asks “What Interests You?”) and start stumbling. You can check as many categories as you want. Personal favorites are humor, bizarre/oddities, and internet. Humor brings you, well, shit that’s in-general funny, from videos to websites. Bizarre/oddities will bring up pages like phallic-shaped objects you can look for on Google Earth. Internet will bring you to other websites that it thinks are interesting, like “Greg Rutter’s Second Definitive List of The 99 Things You Should Have Already Experienced On The Internet Unless You’re A Loser or Old or Something,’ and other internet memes.

So hey, next time you’re on fbook and are about to check out the album your ex just posted, or are about to Wikipedia “bonobos,” go to StumbleUpon.com instead. You’ll feel less creepy, and won’t feel horrible about yourself from seeing all the bros/slampieces your ex hooked up with other the weekend

*On a separate note, actually do try wikipediaing “bonobos.” That’s some funny shit.
