I have to ask: does everyone mix up your name with Gilmore Girls and spell it wrong (including me…sorry)?
Of course, but I’m used to it by now. I refuse to watch the show, though.

Anyway, what are you interested in major/minor-wise?
Psychology major, definitely. I want to minor in something, but I’m not sure what yet. Maybe I’ll do a theatre minor.

Any idea what you’ll do after college?
Probably grad school for psychology.

What performances have you already performed in and what are your plans for this semester?
Here at Gettysburg, I’ve done Lunchtime Scenes and One-Acts, and performed in the two showcases for the Makings of the Great American Musical First Year Seminar. This semester, I’ll be performing in Thaddeus Stevens, playing Clytemnestra in Agamemnon, and I’d like to do Lunchtime Scenes again.

What has been your favorite?
I loved Sestina, my One-Act. It was my first ever modern, non-musical play. In high school, I did musicals and I did Shakespeare, so it was a completely new experience, playing a character that I could relate to really well and getting to work on character development without having to worry about singing and dancing.

Or a broader question, what is your favorite of all time?
It’s so hard to choose, but I did see Rent onstage for the first time over break and it was amazing. We had second row seats and I cried through most of Act II.

What do you enjoy studying?
Besides psych, which I love, I really have a thing for foreign languages. I’ve studied French, Spanish, and Latin, and right now I’m taking Japanese.

What is your favorite office supply?
Post-Its.

What do you like most about Gettysburg?
I love how there’s so much to do – I like to keep busy. And the campus is so pretty. Glatfelter is my favorite building in the world.

Why did you choose to come here?
To be honest, it was a whim. I visited for the first time on Get Acquainted Day and decided that this was where I needed to be. In retrospect, I’m so glad I decided to come to Gettysburg. I absolutely love it here.

Good luck this semester!
