By Bill Lafferty

Dear Campus Community Member,

On Sunday, October 17th, at approximately 3am, a woman student reported to safety and security that an unidentified male approached her at College apartments and lifted up her skirt. The woman student first encountered the male while walking in an alley behind the Getty gas station located on Carlisle street. The male is described as a white or Hispanic male, around 20 to 25 years of age, approximately 5′ 7″ to 5’8″ tall, with a stocky build, shaved or “buzz” haircut, wearing a blue button down shirt, and long pants. Subsequent to this encounter, the male was observed running from the scene towards Delap avenue. The woman indicated that the male did not physically touch her. The local police were notified and a police report was filed.

Safety and Security and the local police are asking for your help. If anyone has additional information regarding this incident, or if anyone sees someone matching the description listed above, you are strongly encouraged to contact safety and security and the local police immediately.
