This year Gettysburg College is proud to host the revolutionary musical group Black Violin for the feature performance on Saturday of Springfest–which can perhaps be more accurately termed ‘safari-fest’ this year, thanks to the recently announced safari theme.
Black Violin is comprised of Wil B and Kev Marcus, two classically trained violinists who have taken their talent and passion for music in all its variations to the next level, combining funk, hip hop, jazz, and classical music into one seamlessly delicious mix. They’ve previously performed with Alicia Keys and opened for Fat Joe, Akon, and the Wu-Tang Clan. Let’s give them a wild welcome come Springfest weekend!
For more information, check them out on iTunes or here at their website: Black Violin.
