At the pro-McCain Rally that the “future first lady,” Cindy McCain came to speak at, this past Sunday, I was one of the 5 protesters inside the rally itself. We were joined by twenty some odd Obama supporters outside, holding posters, chanting, and handing out informational flyers to attendees of the rally. To these supporters, I offer my ...

By Nate Storey

As the election fast approaches and the tickets have been announced, it seems wise to understand the candidates on a deeper level than how they appear or how they strive to make their opponent appear. We must examine their positions, their views, and their actions.

One of the most important tests of a candidacy is the selection of the ...

Yet Another Brilliant Idea from Vermont

A few weeks ago, the town of Berkeley, acting in idiotic fashion, tried to drive Marine Corps Recruiters out of their town, convinced that no one in Berkeley would want to fight in President Bush’s evil and illogical war in Iraq. When the country erupted in outrage and a coalition of US Senators, led by Senator Jim DeMint ...

The Comeback Kid Strikes Again

About I week ago I wrote a column saying that Hillary Clinton, though she appeared to be down in the polls and looked like she was about to lose Ohio, Texas, Vermont, and Rhode Island, was down, but not out. At the risk of sounding obnoxious, after the results of March 4 th, the mini SUPER TUESDAY, I ...
